Team work
As part of one of the coursework in one of our second year’s modules, we worked in a team and followed a clients’ brief. We took different roles:
Designer : Susie Li
Web Developer: Yuzhou Wu
Project Manager: Katlego Mofokeng
Live-brief presented by Kingston Hub
We were asked to create an easy to navigate educational website offering downloadable resources available to pupils and parents. The aim was to allow pupils learning from home to access educational resources created by Kingston students.
The team followed the client’s guidelines to create and design a user-friendly website titled ‘Mandarin For All’, which will allow students of all ages (from Primary school through to A-level) learning from home, access learning materials of the Mandarin language.
The website serves as a bank of downloadable resources populated with video presentations, podcasts, vocal clips as well as worksheets. We provide learning materials for students with proficiency levels ranging from Beginner to Advanced, in hopes to offer a more inclusive website that not only supports those of varying proficiency levels, but also those with different learning styles.

Experience the architecture in Shanghai website
The theme of my website is about some traditional and modern architecture in my hometown Shanghai, China. So the title of my webpage is Experience the Architecture in Shanghai. Because Shanghai is my hometown where I grew up, I have a particular understanding of this city’s architectural characteristics and history. The homepage style is also bright and straightforward. The page is divided into four pages: the home page, which is about traditional architecture and modern architecture. These buildings are famous landmarks of Shanghai,.Therefore, I hope the website can provide a good guide for visitors to Shanghai. Visitors to China can understand the traditional Chinese culture and the city’s combination of history and modernity.
