The Tibetan pilgrimage is an act of self-belief by the Tibetans, it shows their reverence for the Buddha and is known for being completely different from other pilgrimages. The physical torture is seen as a demonstration of faithfulness for pilgrims, which arouses curiosity and disbelief in many people. It is solemn, shocking, but difficult to be understood.
In this collection, I will tell the story of the Tibetan pilgrimage from the perspective of a non-Tibetan. To learn, perpetuate and develop Tibetan culture. The Western artist Yves Klein’s ideology have a great deal of similarity to the Tibetan pilgrims, just like his work Anthropométries. This collection also incorporated his idea and artwork into the pilgrimage culture.
