YOUTHFUL BRAVERY – hopes to mould a narrative for the post pandemic woman to reclaim their childlike fearlessness to start exploring the world again. inspired by my own inner traveller and the women i have met along the way. i have used elements of my own old and worm travelling uniform to inform my design work. From cargo pants and knitted thermal undergarments, to the old and somewhat impractical dresses i climbed mountains in.
The adaptive nature of garments worn when people are ‘adventuring’ informed silhouettes with slits up to the waist for mobility, prints of camouflage to match dirty terrain and metal components for durability.
