My design details and structure are mainly developed from the dress of female pilots when working in the early 20th century. In the history of any country, the profession of pilots is dominated by men, so in the early development of the career of female pilots, there is no flight clothing specially made for women on the market. It is my main design point to make the original loose silhouette fit through special details. The inspiration was from an interview with Amelia Earhart, she mentioned that she had to wear unsuitable clothes at work because she couldn’t buy suitable flight suits, which has been confirmed in many old photos of female pilots.
