Shuchita Paul

Hi, I am Shuchita Paul, a fashion designer by passion and profession. Since my childhood, I have always wanted to take part in the creative world to make little changes. I am an inquisitive individual who enjoys researching, reading, watching documentaries, travelling to authentic places and so on. I have particular areas of interest, mainly metaphysical philosophy, astronomy, science, ancient civilisations, indigenous tribes, sacred geometry, nature etcetera. After I started reflecting deeply, I realised something new every day and it makes me continuously connect dots with each area. Each dot reflects many aspects of the universe and communicates with my inner self to help me reconnect with the pattern of unseen designed life.

I believe before starting any work, the basis or concept should be individual, honest and effective. First, I divide my work into two parts—one is full of creative and artistic expression and the other one is the craft of critical realisation. As I am interested in specific topics such as metaphysical philosophy, cosmos, nature, sacred geometry and ancient civilisation, I build my concept based on these topics alongwith using my inner conscious reflection to turn an unseen path into a visible artistic representation. When it comes to crafting and form realisation, I prefer to express my artistic expression mainly in two ways. One is the mirror of our daily lives and the other is in a form of wearable art. Now I prefer to work with more eco-friendly materials instead of using harmful materials. I am oriented towards abstracting the essence from the context to build interesting forms that makes me capable of handling complex forms precisely.
