Hi, I am Sakshi, a small town girl from Punjab, India with big dreams & even bigger teeth. My loud boisterous self loves to be around people & revel in the optimism for life’s smaller moments.

My constant urge to collect junk at home to fashion craft out of it, helped me explore my creative side. Always up to learning new things- be it dance, drama, Swimming etc. I had a fascination with offbeat career choices. And now I am a proud Visual Communication Designer.

In my spare time I am either smashing shuttles with my badminton racket or curled up in my room sketching or reading. My ultimate fun happens while I cook comfort food for myself and my family.

My interest in the strategic application of design, led me to work as a brand designer for a chocolate manufacturing company, last summer. I worked closely with the founder to plan and execute a brand strategy through packaging and website design to launch their new product in the market.

Before this, I have combined my illustrative skills and design thinking to work as a graphic designer/ illustrator for a cinematographer. My work of producing a press kit with informative illustrations, for the promotion of his documentary film on stray dogs, was acknowledged by the animal welfare board of India.

I have a keen interest in working hands-on and exploring multiple visual media. To further this interest, and with an intent to expand my understanding of print media as well as product merchandising, I have launched a range of stationery products which include journals, bookmarks, stickers, posters, based on my illustrations. I create unique narratives that are true to the core values of a brand. With my background in branding, animation, UX/ UI, & illustration, I am an eclectic designer with leadership and managerial skills.

A special quote that I live by as a creative professional is –“We all die, the goal is not to live forever, but to create something that does”- Chuck Palahniuk. The same way I am on a quest to keep exploring & establishing my lineage.
