Who said zines are a dying medium? Well, a few people actually. This project is an attempt to reignite the anger and passion found in Riot Grrrl and Punk zines from the 90s, with a renewed attack on the established gender binary. Composed of writing, photography, poetry, and art, Kiss My Hips provides a space for sharing and discussion between creators, all with an aim to educate others and break the gender binary.
The first three editions developed over the course of the project have been compiled into one anthology, acting as shared exhibition space and a celebration of all of its contributors.
