Hello! I’m Morwenna, a graphic designer with an interest in both strategy and branding. Throughout third year my work has had a focus on social innovation; projects with a social or environmental purpose. As a designer, I am informed by research and experimentation and have a long-standing appreciation for type design, nice paper (Big GF Smith fan!) and printmaking. I really like greyhounds and the colour murky green.

SIM – Concept, Branding, Type Design, UI Development

A speculative project designed to aid students and teachers, mid-pandemic, to maintain the level of learning that needed to be achieved, from home. Using the statistic that 30% of children in the UK experience digital poverty, we proposed an accessible digital solution using budget ‘brick’ mobile phones to continue the curriculum.

World’s Fair – 3D Design, Animation, Branding

The World’s Fair is a speculative 5-day online event which encourages graphic designers to re-think the material decisions they make. Through introducing the materials to the creative audience, World’s Fair is ensuring the sustainable future of graphic design.

Lap Sap Chung – Publication Design

The publication of my dissertation exploring the 1970s Hong Kong litter campaign ‘Lap Sap Chung.’ The publication is an observation of the research undertaken in writing the text, with a nod to my personal connection to the subject matter through adopting a ‘scrapbook’ feel.
