Molly Roche is a young, British filmmaker and a recent graduate from Kingston University where they studied filmmaking. Their work mainly explores horror, sci-fi and documentary film, as they are Molly’s favourite genres since becoming a young woman. Molly is an aspiring director who wishes to create satirical science fiction films including their own passion project, ‘What Happens Now?’. Their favourite film is Blade Runner, which they based their dissertation on. This inspired them to be where they are now – striving to create powerful films which are fictional but based in futurist realism. Molly is currently based in Hampshire, England and Kingston, London.
‘my work over the last 4 years has allowed me to find my identity as a filmmaker. i specialise in mainly fantasy, horror and science fiction. i like to re-imagine the future and create films that encourage audiences to take an introspective look at who they are and what their place is in such a chaotic world.’
