‘Break & Heal’ explores the psychological changes

experienced by young people during and after the

lockdown period in the UK. This project is divided into

two parts which are connected by two characters who

feature in both parts. The first part focuses on the daily

life of young people during the pandemic. It is a series

of monochrome posters designed to show young people’s

anxiety during the lockdown. Some colour emerges in

the last two posters, suggesting a feeling of hope.

In the second part of the project, a panoramic illustration

portrays life after lockdown. It is presented as a panoramic

video with some gentle background music to give the

audience a more interactive experience.
