My graduating project is located in Woolwich, South East London, where I have spent most of the first term researching and filming a documentary about social spaces, interestingly in the middle of a pandemic when the 2m rule still applied. The documentary serves as an introduction to my design thesis to create a successful public space that caters to the existing community whilst also inviting new programs in. I think different people define Architecture differently, they tend to focus on what is important to them. I strongly believe that Architecture is about humans, humanity, social life and sustainability. I focused on designing a project that would incorporate and integrate the four key aspects that define Architecture for me.
