Mehak is an experienced interior architect and designer and has five years of experience in the luxury residential, F&B, retail, and hospitality sector. Mehak has had the opportunity to collaborate with creative people from different walks of life and in diverse domains through her education and work experience. This has allowed her to develop and foster transferrable skills learned through the years, quickly adapt to changing work environments and client needs, as well as feed her hunger for creativity and innovation.

She went on to study a master’s degree in Project Management for Creative Practitioners to upgrade her skills in design management, as well as understand how to manage projects efficiently while considering the budget, time, scope, and quality. Through the year of the course, she was involved in two live projects taking on the Scrum Master and Product Owner roles and applying her knowledge of Scrum, design thinking, interior design, and project management to deliver projects, liaise with the clients and stakeholders involved and work collaboratively with project teams.

Some of her responsibilities included coaching the team on the Scrum framework and agile methodologies, managing and solving project impediments to ensure low risk outcomes, prepare timelines and schedules for teams to work efficiently and in a timely manner and lastly provide admin support and coordination with the client and stakeholders to warrant effective communication.
