Hi, welcome to my page! I’m Meghana Didugu, an animator from Hyderabad, India. In one form or another art has been a part of my life since I was a child. I was encouraged to practice different forms of art such as traditional painting, Kuchipudi dance form and, music. This enabled my curiosity towards different artforms which eventually led me towards animation.
With my background in animation and storyboarding, I offer an experience of storytelling that is strongly driven by my artistic and technical abilities. With a conscientious mindset, I tend to take a research-oriented approach towards my ideas so I can critically analyse and execute. As a storyteller, I am passionate about telling stories than can influence people to create a better future.
In this journey i realised that, in every movement, a story is told. When they are combined, they give us a sense of fulfilment as they create a rhythm that seamlessly dances about us, giving the landscape meaning and continuity.The Major Design Project I worked on focused on exploring animation as a medium. I decided to get digital and traditional mediums together wherein, I was successfully able to add a non-digital element in my backgrounds. Storytelling is another important part of my process where I always strive to make it relevant to the present times.
One of my biggest strengths is the to navigate myself through any computer softwares I come across. I have never found them to be intimidating and have always learned with ease. Some may say that people should not chase after perfection but, in my work, I always made sure that even the tiniest detail is fixed and good to go so that the quality of work improves. The ability to visually explore with different mediums and working on detail is another thing I personally enjoy.
