I have made an installation inspired by Mycelium. A soft sculpture sprouts root-like hyphae that encourage the viewer to squeeze. Upon touch, the hyphae with red embroidered rings trigger birdsong or separate melody lines sang by my mum. The weaving of the sounds mimic the growth of the hyphae.
