The collection relies on elements of costumes from Hungarian folk art and in their shapes examines the relationship between eastern European brutalist architecture (especially historic monuments) and nature.(i.e its surroundings, locations, and placement) my collection celebrates the harmony and contrast between the two both in terms of colour and shape.my inspiration came from the coercive everyday circumstances of the time. Covid made me return to Hungary ,my home country.in times of trauma and overwhelming stress ,nostalgia felt like a natural instinct and i turned to those feelings for comfort. This left a mark on my professional process as well .i turned to my own heritage ,the most authentic for myself: costumes of Hungarian folk art and especially their natural forms like flower embellishments inspired my work.
