Subaqueous Forms A/W collection was inspired by the raw beauty, vivid colours and delicate textures of the coral reefs and marine life in our oceans.
I used old photographs from my travels around Asia and Australasia as a starting point for my research and print design. My concept was developed further by stand development and fabric manipulation, creating different textures and ruffles.
All the garments are bespoke and are designed with longevity in mind. They include a lot of hand stitching and cutting. Each ruffle and scalloped edge was individually cut and prepared by hand.
