Jahyun Kim mainly focuses on observation of her everyday life. Especially, she likes to find some stories within ordinary but beautiful moments and landscapes that are easy to miss in our daily lives. She also loves to draw places where many people gather. She constantly imagines what they think and where they’re going. Drawing is to express the world she sees and feels in her own way. Going further than reconstructing what she observed, Jahyun intends to expand her work area to metaphorically express various emotions and themes surrounding our lives.
I am interested in expressing what has not been said and written with images. I like to show my world through images. I hope that my work will be passed on to many people in the future.
