‘Women (in data)’ explores the identity and ambitions of women reinvented in the digital realm it compares and analyses how they differ from women in reality. By mainly focusing on digital algorithms and autocompletion systems that show culturally biased data, the information was analysed and visualised. The purpose of ‘Women (in data)’ is to break down the identity of women reinvented in the digital realm. The bias data can contribute to inform on the biases that affect society in a wider sense affecting people’s unconscious perception, that’s why close attention is needed.
