This is a set of online board game character designs.
Considering the impact of COVID-19 on people’s entertainment, the characters were designed based on traditional board games. Enhancing the visual impact brings a deeper sense of game experience and participation and will, attract more people to online apps. In the plot of role-playing board games, characters search for clues, solve puzzles, search of justice and truth. To keep the characters aligned to the future city setting, functional wind, Chinese elements and animal personification were integrated into the body, equipment and material design of different characters. Through this group of characters, the project shows how modern young people think about themselves, how they think about the times, and how they create change.
