“wedged”
My project is a series of benches based around a new joint it requires no fixings or adhesives and can be assembled in under a minute. The simple construction of the top and the wedges means the design is scalable to any length, width or height. The holes in the seat top and the wedges are offset by 15 degrees. When assembled the legs are “wedged” in place.
This biscuit range plays with the visual language of the bench. It leans into the aesthetic, extending the wedges to meet in the middle to look like a snapped biscuit. The graphics on the top have been simplified and the type altered to relate to furniture.
“How do we interact with TV’s”
A social project based on rethinking how we interact and use TV’S.
The TV used to be the hub of the house and now as we have access to smart technology its place has changed. Why do we still use TV’s the same our attitude towards them is different?
The double sided TV is a response to how we can watch TV together, but also maintain all the different TV choices. Using this TV means that people can watch different programmes together. The WIIIDE TV and the LOOONG TV is reacting to the shape of the TV has always been the same. By extending the screen both horizontally and vertically we are able to see and experience more, making the user feel something different towards the TV.
