The starting point of my major project is the lockdown life we are experiencing at this moment. The coronavirus was started in 2020 until now, and it has swept the world. To protect from being hurt, people have to stay at home, reducing contracting with the virus. Because of this situation, the development of the city has been at a standstill. Meanwhile, people have produced many negative emotions because of the long-term social forbidden and financial pressure. They felt like they were living in a cage, and their former original life has also undergone tremendous changes. Therefore, this point led me to base my project on the following question: How to use cage-related artworks to illustrate the oppressive status of people trapped at home during the epidemic?
