BioPlasticKit
BioPlasticKit is a home crafts kit that empowers individuals to create their own bioplastic products from food waste.
Comprising of an instruction booklet and three moulds in forms that are designed for a variety of gardening and homeware purposes. The booklet includes a guide to processing food waste, accessible step-by-step bioplastic recipes, and suggested modifications for several purposes. When used for gardening, the food waste bioplastic gradually breaks down and provides nourishment to growing plants. When kept dry, the bioplastic will endure for years.
BioPlasticKit aims to demonstrate the accessibility of bioplastics and to promote the practice of a sustainable lifestyle in which waste can be re-purposed creatively.
