Behzad Zeinali is an Iranian filmmaker and photographer. He grew up in Qazvin (Iran) and studied filmmaking at Kingston University in London. In recent years, he has improved his filmmaking skills by attending workshops with popular Iranian filmmakers, such as Abbas Kiarostami and Mohsen Makhmalbaf. His focus is on making short fiction and documentary films with a poetic look inspired by ancient Persian poetry. He produced and directed his first short fiction film, Smoky Sky, in 2016. He is currently based in London and Taste of Nostalgia is his latest short fiction film.
