Musical Breath
I have designed and made a performative garment to allow jazz musicians to express the music they are playing physically. More specifically I tailored my garment to the jazz performance singer Eleanor Rashid. The garment explores the sensation of being grounded and highlights the energy in which musicians feel in their core. The idea of funnelling air through restriction and then becoming free is illustrated within the skirt and top detailing.
