The Level 4 Exhibition Project project ran alongside independent studio practice through January and February 2021. The project gave students the opportunity to organise and create an online exhibition and/or event.
Students were encouraged to discuss, organise, plan and create an exhibition that was shared and experienced through online platforms as opposed to the physical exhibition space. To bring a sense of focus and practicality to the research and development of the exhibition, students were also allocated a virtual budget to work within a specific parameter in the realisation of their intentions.
Through contributing to planning an exhibition students continue to acquire key skills for planning, showing, recording and communicating work in a variety of formats, including publication and exhibition via analogue, digital and online media.
By making and showing work for peers, teaching staff and external audiences, students will also gain an awareness of the importance of editing and evaluating your independent practice
